Matt Hoff… 15th season… Outfielder… Westby High School… UW-Platteville graduate… Works in Law Enforcement for Vernon County… Career BA of .350… Had his best year at the plate in 2013 with a BA of .403… Lead CCV in 2013 with 40 RBI’s and 13 Doubles and finished 3rd with 28 Runs scored… Great contact hitter with only 5 K’s in 129 AB’s.

Adam Wershofen… 11th season… Outfielder… Holmen High School… Viterbo University graduate… Works for Festival Foods… Recovered from a serious hand injury at the end of the 2010 season… Finished the 2013 season with a BA of .305 and was 2nd on the Blues with 31 Runs scored. Returned to the mound for the first time since his hand injury in 2010. Appeared in 5 games, pitching 14 innings, striking out 12 while walking 1 and finishing with an ERA of 1.29.

Kevin Wagner… 11th Season… Catcher… Prairie du Chien High School… Viterbo graduate… Moved to La Crosse this summer. Works at Badger Corrugating and is working on his CPA certification... Finished the 2013 season with a BA of.280 with 15 RBI’s and 16 Runs scored. Continues to be a solid catcher and assistant coach for CCV.

Corey Geary… 7th season… Infielder, RHP… Aquinas High School… Graduate of UW-La Crosse where he was their starting shortstop… “Mr. Smooth” in the infield… Another outstanding year in 2013… Lead CCV in At Bats with 138 and Runs Scored with 43… Finished the season with a BA of .370… Struck out only 4 times in 138 AB’s… Blues closer with 9 appearances and 20.1 innings with 17 K’s, 3 walks and an ERA of 1.33.

Jay Fanta… 6th Season… Infielder… Viroqua High School… Attends UW-La Crosse… Started on UW-L varsity baseball team for 4 years… Lives in Rochester, MN and works for the Rochester Amateur Sports Commission… In 2013 playing time was limited to 69 At Bats due to job, but he still finished with a BA of .420, 29 RBI’s, 15 Runs Scored and only 2 K’s… Playing time will also be limited in 2014.

Ben Levendoski… 6th season… Infielder… De Soto High School… Graduate of UW-La Crosse… Works for Kwik Trip… Continued his solid play for the Blues in 2013… Did not miss a game and accumulated 129 AT Bats to tie for 2nd on the team… The only player on the present roster that has played every position in the field… Had a BA of .264 with 28 RBI’s and 25 Runs Scored.

Tim Larson… 5th Season… Right-handed pitcher… Westby High School… Played college baseball at UW-La Crosse… Has come back strong from his arm injury in 2009 and Tommy John surgery… Made 10 appearances in 2013 compiling 43.2 innings... Finished with a 4-2 record and an ERA of 3.09… “Secret offensive weapon” with 5 hits in 9 At Bats for a BA of .556.

Kyle Servais… 5th season… Catcher… Westby High School… Graduate of Winona Saint Mary’s and was the starting catcher his senior season… Excellent behind the plate and had a solid year with the bat as well in 2013, finishing with a BA of .346 in 104 AB’s... He had 27 RBI’s and 27 Runs Scored and tied for the HR lead with 3.

Jesse Servais… 5th season… Right-handed pitcher… La Crosse Central High School… Graduate of UW-Stevens Point… Considered the “Ace” of the Blues staff… Has compiled a 22-1 record in 4 seasons with 34 appearances and 182.1 innings… Has a career ERA of 2.03. Was 8-0 in 2013, with 10 appearances and a career high 61 innings… Had career bests in K’s with 39 and ERA of 1.18… A “true” control pitcher.

Jordan Greenland… 4th season… Outfielder… La Farge High School… Attends UW-La Crosse and plays baseball there… Sustained an arm injury early in the 2013 season and only had 17 at bats… Has recovered and will be back full-time with the Blues in 2014… Has a career BA of .317 and provides excellent speed and defense.

Brett Jacobson… 4th Season… Infielder… Watertown High School… Graduate of UW-La Crosse and was a starter in the infield for them... Employed at a teacher by the Tomah School District… Can play all the infield positions… Had a BA of .305 in 2013 with 19 RBI’s and 14 Runs scored. Will also be doing some coaching this summer with an area American Legion baseball team.

Jeff Raasch… 4th season… Outfielder… Westby High School… Graduate of Western Technical College with a criminal justice degree and is employed full time by the Viroqua Police Department… Good defensive player… Has a career BA of .260.

Brett Sebion… 4th season… Infielder, RHP… Westby High School… Attends UW-La Crosse… Appeared in 11 games in 2013 and pitched 42 innings with an ERA of 5.14… Struck out 27 and walked 13, finishing with a record of 2-2… Had 56 At Bats and finished with a BA of .250.

Garrett Scray… 3rd season… Right-handed Pitcher… West De Pere High School… Graduate of UW-La Crosse… Did not play in 2013, as he was working on his PA degree in Iowa… Will see limited action in 2014, while completing his internship in Des Moines, IA… Outstanding pitcher, compiling 21 appearances and 143.1 innings… Career ERA of 1.51 with 139 K’s and only 14 walks with a record of 14-4.

Travis Check… 3rd Season… Standout at 3rd base for CCV… La Crosse Logan High School… Is employed by the La Crosse Fire Department…Has been a top player in the MVL for many seasons… Due to work commitments, only had 57 At Bats in 2013… Finished with a BA of .526 with 3 HR’s, 21 RBI’s and 22 Runs scored… Had only 2 K’s… In 2 seasons with CCV, has 169 At Bats and a BA of .509. Excellent bat control.

Skyler Debilzen… 2nd season.. Right-handed Pitcher, 6’5” 195lbs… Oregon High School… Graduate of UW-La Crosse and played baseball there… Had an excellent rookie season with the Blues, compiling 51.2 innings in 10 appearances with an ERA of 2.44… Had 47 K’s and 16 Walks with a record of 5-3.

Joseph Vike… 2nd season… RHP/Infielder… Holmen High School… Mississippi Valley Conference Pitcher of The Year in 2012… Attends UW-La Crosse and plays baseball there… Used mostly as a pitcher for CCV in 2013 and appeard in 16 games, throwing 63 innings… Finished with a 4-2 record, an ERA of 2.71 with a record of 4-2… Had 55 At Bats with a .273 BA.
